Halifax Stanfield International Airport says there are no reported injuries after a WestJet aircraft arriving from Toronto slid off the runway.
The airport said in a tweet that crews are in the process of taking passengers to the terminal building.
Passenger Eric Wynne said the flight crew on WestJet 248 kept people calm and that no one appeared to be hurt after the landing.
He said it appeared the plane continued off the end of the runway onto an unpaved area.
It snowed in the Halifax region for several hours Sunday.
